We are building an independent reference layer for US consumer electronics. Manufacturer specifications, federal energy filings, recall notices and public benchmarks — joined on one resolved product identity, each field carrying the date it was last confirmed. In development; not yet public.
Catalogues disagree. The same television carries four model numbers, three screen-size roundings and a spec sheet that contradicts the manufacturer's own federal filing. We do the reconciliation, so that a comparison means something.
A retailer SKU, a manufacturer part number, a GTIN and a regulator's model code rarely match on string comparison. Records are joined on a resolved identity, and every merge keeps its evidence — so a wrong join can be found and undone rather than quietly carried forward into every answer built on top of it.
What a retailer prints is compared with what the manufacturer certified to a federal programme. Disagreements are surfaced, not averaged away.

Federal recall notices resolved to the affected units rather than to the brand name.
Sources rename fields, repeat records, return yesterday's data as today's, and occasionally answer 200 OK with nothing inside. Ingestion assumes all four: overlap windows so late-posting records are not lost, deduplication on meaning rather than on provider identifiers, and a written diff of what each run changed.
The foundation is government and open data, used under its published terms. These are working integrations, not a wish list.

Retailer pricing and availability are taken only from official affiliate and developer programmes, under each programme's terms. We do not scrape retail sites.
Ridiculam LLC has been registered in New Jersey since 2023. There is no outside investment and no roadmap written for anyone else — development is funded by the founder's own operating income, which is why the scope stays narrow, the infrastructure stays self-hosted, and nothing ships before it has been checked against the source.
Builds and operates the systems directly — ingestion, storage, scheduling, monitoring and the interfaces on top. Infrastructure runs on servers the company controls, with restores that are tested rather than assumed. Based in New Jersey.
